Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) Indonesia has completed the construction of 30 quarantine rooms for COVID-19 patients in Mamuju, West Sulawesi. This project, sponsored by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), is situated at the site of the 5-story Mitra Hospital, which collapsed during the 2018 Palu earthquake. Excavators were employed to remove the building debris, and female workers from a labor-intensive program also participated in this project.

Before the project started, the construction of earthquake resistant building bandaged with ferrocement layers initiated by Teddy Boen, was introduced to the workers on May 26, 2021. In addition, the workers also independently assembled wooden framework due to the high cost of renting in Mamuju.

Under the leadership of Mr. Samzon Purba from ADRA (who is also a member of Teddy Boen's team) as the project manager, the construction was completed on time and in accordance with the required quality standards. The project commenced in June 2021 and was successfully finished in September 2021.
